Sheffield Food Festival 2024
Sheffield Food Festival returns in 2024 to celebrate the city's finest food, drinks and music, during the late May Bank Holiday Weekend, Saturday 25 May - Monday 27 May.
Each year, Sheffield Food Festival draws tens of thousands of visitors into the city to celebrate food and drink from across the region and beyond.
One of the city's largest free to attend events for all the family, the festival is a bustling exhibition of Sheffield’s thriving food & drink scene, with over 60 traders taking part, many of which are based locally.
This year’s festival includes four key sections to visit, starting with the traditional street food area, then the artisan market, the community hub and the main stage and bar.
There will also be two live music stages, free craft and music workshops plus a 10 piece walkabout brass band.
Once again, the entire festival will take place across Sheffield’s Peace Gardens, St Paul’s Parade, Millennium Square, Town Hall Square and Pinstone Street with the info village based in the Winter Gardens.

Mouthwatering Street Food Traders
The spectacular selection foodie traders includes Sheffield icon Frazers Coffee, award winning East Asian inspired Yee Kwan ice cream, local legends V or V Grill House and Caribbean Fusion, one of festival favourites Chefstef.
Exciting new traders include halal restaurant Tamarind Kitchen, mobile retro pancake bar Flippin 'eck! Pancake Bar, Somtam Thai street food and a taste of South Africa from Safari Shack.
Artisans Market
Expect food producers and businesses sharing their expertise and tasters from home-made preserves to unusual gins, olives, pies or toffee vodka.
The artisan's market line up this year includes festival favourites smooth delicious chocolate rum from Lucelas and spectacular gins from Sheffield own Hawkins Distillery, Yorkshire Pudding Beer, Tiramisu’ master Paradiso Authentic Italian, Scrumptious By Lucy and catering for all your bakery dietary needs is Hoppin' Mad CakeAway
The Peace Gardens Main Stage
Collaborating with Sheffield College, Hallam University, Rock School, Water Bear College and talent scout nights in local venues, festival organisers have been out and about to find the best talent that Sheffield has to offer.
The lineup features 50/50 male and female artists from a huge mix of genres and vibes. Some of the highlights include 60’s inspired indie rock band Lunarca, rapper and spoken word artists Matic Mouth and dance, urban and soul DJ Kayla C.
New addition for this year is also a busking tent on Town Hall Square where Creative DJ School invites you to drop in and join in to learn some of the fundamentals of DJing on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with busking sets in the afternoon by young talent at Sheffield Music School.
While the main bar this year will be sponsored by Abbeydale Brewery, a true Sheffield institution who will bring their most beloved drinks to the festival.
Millennium Square Community Area
There will be plenty of activities for families too! Sheffield community arts charity Ignite Imaginations will provide FREE hands-on craft workshops celebrating the food and music traditions of different cultures across the three days.
Charities and info stands will also be on hand to discuss initiatives in Sheffield that you should get involved in, from Blue Cross to Sheffield Action on Plastic.
